Choke tube cleaning question

I have a bottle of Slip2000 Choke Tube Cleaner, and the directions say that “this is not a petroleum product, so it is very important to apply a lubricant to parts after they have been cleaned.”

My question is, does that apply to the inside of the choke as well? It seems like that would just be begging to gunk it up all over again.
