Chunky

Got some advice on here last week that I think has been helpful. Changed my setup a bit and have tried to shorten my backswing. Although I’m wondering if I’m still considered laid off at the top?

My other issue is I seem to be chunking a lot. I know I come down a bit over the top generally but I’m not sure why I’m chunking a bunch. I certainly feel lost on the downswing once the club gets down towards my back pocket. My turn and release simply aren’t there. Any additional tips are appreciated!

Where do I even start? We are blessed in this day and age to have so much free information available to us. I started really investing more last year, but I still know very little about what I’m doing.

Let’s say I have around $100k in a high yield savings account and another $100k in money market funds, individual stocks, and ETFs through Fidelity. My issue is I see so many “buy XYZ stock” between here and on X and never know who to trust or if I want to continue adding to my portfolio….how many individual stocks is too many? How is it possible that every stock being tweeted about is the next MU and I’m missing out on being a millionaire if I don’t invest in it now (this is sarcasm)?! Of course I want my money to work for me and am willing to take a bit of risk to watch it grow, but I also don’t want to over leverage myself. Is there a smart mix of ETFs or mutual funds to own vs individual stocks? It feels so weird to me to dump thousands and thousands into ETFs vs letting it sit safely in a high yield savings account. I guess I’m worried about all the green we’ve been seeing lately and investing large sums is a mental block for me at the moments! But “scared money don’t make no money”, right? What are you smart folks doing currently?

Have been playing a few years and I’m super inconsistent. Have slice issues that I know partially stem from not closing my club face, but I still can’t seem to do it. I move the ball up way in my stance to offset it, but it’s not fool proof. Ideas?
