Hi it's me again. Mod said I could do a monthly update post so I'll do it that way.
As said in my previous post on the matter Im attempting to translate all Gakuen content for English consumers to enjoy. Im a native English speaker with moderate professional translation experience but please dont expect perfection. This month was a bit rough for me, changing jobs and full time school etc. So I got a bit less done than I expected.
Added this month:
-Prologue Part 1 and 2
-Gakuen card translations (R cards) - An excel spreadsheet with all card information translated. Included is the name, images, colour and type, placement, and translations of their four original voiceless added for the menu. It also includes their battle abilities and combo powers for anyone wanting to play the game themselves.
-Sigma Achievement Story 1
-Dazai Achievement Story 1
-All of the prologue has been transcribed and translated. So next month I just have to actually edit it into the videos with Capcut. Its roughly 30ish pages of content woot woot
Current plans for May (Subject to change depending on life stuff + feedback for what to focus on)
-Finish prologue + start chapter 1
-Translate Dazai's Achievement story 2 and 3
-Translate Arsushi and Akutagawa'd Achievement stories
-Upload all SR cards images etc. For the new Excel sheet (maybe SSR too if I have the energy)
Stuff I haven't yet added but probably will eventually
-Translation of the full in-game tutorial/guide so non Japanese speakers can play the game themselves if they want
-Event translations. Im the past there was an Uzumaki event I unfortunately did not record bc it was before I started this endeavor, but the current Fyodor one I can add.
-Translation notes for decisions Ive had to make, and some story stuff like why its called Ouma Academy and such.
Anyway. Here's a sneak peak/some lines from the Prologue to wait for throughout the month I guess.
"Whatever you do, you mustn't go near the old school building"
"Have you heard the new legend? About the black cat in the old building"
Ill let you sit in suspense on whether or not Atsushi and User decide to go into the old school building roughly 2 seconds after receiving such warning 💗
