Hello fellow AOS enjoyers
I’d like to do a kitbash for my Beastmen in TOW and I need your help.

Do you know if the Gloomspite chariots are large enough in scale to fit a Beastman hero or Ungors? If by any chance you own these models and could tell me whether one of these two Gloomspite chariots can accommodate a unit of that size, that would be perfect. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

I’m about to start collecting, painting, and building my own Beastmen herd this week, and I could use your help to prepare both a buying list and a 2000-point army list just like I did previously with my Tyranids.

I really enjoy starting an army from scratch with a long-term buying plan that I can complete step by step.

First of all, the setting. My army needs strong lore and background. I’ve loved Beastmen since I was a kid, and I’m much more into narrative play. I tried 40k, but in my area (Paris), most players focus heavily on meta and competitive lists, which isn’t really what I’m looking for.

To me, Beastmen are truly awful creatures driven by desperation and raw violence, even toward their own kind. They feel like Greenskins stripped of any humor: just brutality, sacrifice, and pure bestial savagery lurking in the shadows.

My herd will revolve around a Master Hunter who gathers a warherd around him with the guidance of an old Shaman. I want an army that reflects this idea: a fast, hard-hitting hunting pack focused on tracking, capturing prey, and performing dark sacrifices.

I’ve already ordered the Beastmen army box, and I have a few clear ideas for my list:

- Three characters: Skar the Red Tracker (General), Baalgor the Ruminant (Shaman), Narghul the Promised (banner)

- Ungors used as ranged support

- Gors and Bestigors as the core of the army, in large numbers (I love a dense, populated force)

- Two chariots: one for a character (Shaman, BSB, or General), and one dedicated to smashing into enemy lines

- 3 Razorgors. I love their profile, and the idea that the herd breeds these beasts for hunting feels nicely thematic

- No Dragon Ogres, Chaos Spawn, Centigors, or Harpies

- One Ghorgon, dominated by the Red Tracker (his greatest feat)

That’s the concept so far. If you can help me build a solid list from this, I’ll then turn it into a full buying plan.

Last but not least, I plan to do a lot of kitbashing using Age of Sigmar and Warcry models, as some of the older sculpts aren’t really to my taste.
