My senior cat, who is 21 years old, has been driving my entire family crazy.
(Don't get me wrong, we all love him very dearly, we're just burnt out)
Other than minor health/sinus issues, he's completely happy, can move around perfectly fine, and eats all his meals. the vet says he's in near perfect condition
however, every time anyone tries to do anything, he'll run right in front of their feet and trip them
he wipes his snot on / sneezes on everyone and everything, which makes a gross mess everywhere
(our whole house is pretty much impossible to keep clean)
we've tried dozens of medications and food, and absolutely nothing helps how congested and snotty he is
(edit, we believe he has FHV)
on top of everything, the medication we have him on is causing him to poop all over the floor/furniture.
not just that, but he's suddenly learned to open cabinets and consistently gets in, knocks everything over, (sometimes pooping INSIDE THE CABINET...) and then can't get out until we come and help him...
we are getting child locks don't worry
Its so stressful to deal with everyday, nobody in the house can have a moment of peace without having to clean up a mess
at this point there's really nothing else i feel like we can do
and i need judgement free advice because we're doing all we can at the moment.
