Random question, do any of you drink while reading? And if so, how often? It’s something I really enjoy (probably more than I’d like to admit) and honestly it just feels great. I don’t feel like it hurts my comprehension much, if anything I feel more locked in and engaged with the work. Plus it adds a really cozy vibe to the whole experience. Just wondering if this is relatively normal or if it’s something people would actually recommend against. And just to be clear, I don’t have a drinking problem. I just like the combo and got curious about it. Also partly posting this here because Dostoevsky is my favorite writer, and when I do this it’s usually his stuff I’m reading. In fact about to crack open The Idiot and head into a re-reading of it rn. Salute 🍷
