Apparently my 1-month old baby has a good latch but is not good at transferring milk (sucking). Despite having the right amount of diapers her weight gain was poor.

I am on week 4 of triple feeding and have got her weight back up. But I am running out of steam.

She has a very minor tongue tie. Both our doctor and lactation consultant say that they dont think it is the tongue tie as she can drink a bottle.

My doctor prescribed me medication to increase my milk supply (personally I will not take it due to side effects and the fact that once I stop taking it milk supply may decrease again). Lactation consultant wants to have a wait and see approach with the triple feeding. I can tell my baby still is not transferring milk well. I do note that I have larger than average nipples and I wonder if this is an issue.

Does anyone have any tips they can share.
