A minor tied and beaten while a doc justifies it
Came across a verified video from Bahdala village in Una district wherein an ex-army guy tied and supposedly beat a minor girl (migrant family) for stealing guavas from his garden. In the video, she was scared and asking to be saved. So ofcourse, the general response is empathy for the child.
Unfortunately, I came across this comment of a doc from Andhra, trying to justify the action and having no remorse in his further replies. Ironically a ‘paediatrician’. I have posted the pictures in the series and his profile, though erased the females in his cover pic. Should I report him at his workplace or that is going too far and better to move on?
P.S. Some suggests punishment for such. But remember, she seems less than 10yo. Scolding could be fine or reported to her parents but where is a bit of humanity? We joke about stealing from gardens in our childhood but when we see in news, we talk tough.
