I got fired.
So after working for Starbucks for 2 years, I was told either I quit on my own ( with a potential to get rehired later) or the manager was going to open my file and process the paperwork and I would be terminated. I got scared and resigned. Yes, I was late many times because of ever changing start times and my difficulties with time management. I liked my job. But apparently aside from the tardiness, there were complaints about me. I jumped the gun and quit but now I feel like I got played because I lost my insurance and unemployment benefits. What do I do now. The cobra insurance is $700 plus per month and I can’t afford it and I need healthcare.
I’m so screwed.
