Hi, sorry if this format is a bit wrong. This is my first post on reddit.
About 2-3 weeks ago the left third of my monitor started flickering when is started it up and kept going for a couple minutes and then stopped. This kept on happening and one day both left and right side flickered like a pair of police lights. The thing is that while its flickering you can see that it's not a solid black going on and of it sort of fades from the left and you can see the bright spots of my wallpaper behind it.
There have been no driver updates around this time and I have checked if everything is up to date and it is so i don't think it has to do with driver issues.
I have tried to find solutions for this issue can only find troubleshoot guides that assume that the input/pc is the problem. So I was hoping that someone will know what might be the cause of this or at least point me in the right direction.
I get the feeling I might just have to get a new monitor and if that's the case i would love some recommendations for a good 27" 2k monitor.
If this is posted in the wrong place do let me know or mods remove it, my apologies in that case.
