So today Heer is going to the hospital to see Nawab. I really hope she somehow meets a doctor or nurse who was there at the time of her birth, maybe they can finally reveal the truth about her real birth date, And we all know that guy definitely is not Nawab

Now I want to start a discussion about the show with you. Before that, I really want to tell you how I actually started watching it. If this feels a bit long or boring, please bear with me because I don’t really have anyone else to share this experience with, so I am sharing it with all here, I actually stopped watching ITV shows about 5–6 years ago and afer so many years, this show completely caught my attention again, it all started in January one day while watching YouTube, a clip randomly appeared in my feed and it was Nawab and Heer’s study date episode, i watched it, and really loved the “Mahi Ve” bgm and Nawab’s dialogues. After that, another video came in the recommendations “Thailawati hi heer hai meri wife” promo.I watched that too, and honestly I found it confusing but also funny i was like, how can someone not even know who he is married to or what his wife looks like? After that, I started watching more clips and eventually started watching the show from the beginning. The story and especially Nawab and Heer’s chemistry felt very interesting, got me really hooked and attached to the show, to the point that i became kind of obsessed with it and still is (and it’s not good for my mental health at all 😖)
I genuinely loved the show up to the episode where Heer slaps Nawab, after that I feel like Heer’s character changed so much that she has became unrecognizable also this recent track is the most logicless, unnecessary and poorly written. For example, the fake birth certificate track used to break Nawab and Heer’s marriage doesn’t make sense at all from the beginning, it was shown that Heer is 19 and man it was even proven multiple times like when she went to meet Gulab, her Aadhaar card was checked, and no one under 18 can get one althoungh i have no idea regarding Indian law properly but still it feels inconsistent also one more thing during their fake marriage registration, her birth certificate was used if she was underage, the court wouldn’t have approved it but later, when the real marriage happened, the same documents were used again and it was accepted. So this whole logic feels very weak and it ruins the earlier story development.
Another frustrating thing is Neelu’s character. Honestly, she feels like one of the most careless and useless mothers I’ve ever seen, she didn’t even know when her child was born properly, and even after coming out of a coma, she never asked nurses or doctors about basic details. The whole 3 days of labour pain but unclear birth timing explanation also feels very unrealistic and pukeworthy.
Other big mistake is that the annulment track nullifies this whole fake birth certificate thing, the court already cancelled it once, which means the marriage was legally valid. So again, the current plot feels unnecessary. Personally, I feel the marriage didn’t need to be annulled or divorced the story would have been much stronger if Nawab and Heer stayed married and dealt with misunderstandings while still having legal rights over each other that emotional connection and always coming back to each other factor was the real charm of the show.
There are also other disappointing things that could have been handled better in my opinion :
The 15-day challenge could have shown a proper dating phase.
Nawab and Heer revelation to Dalip, Brars and other Sandhu's should have more Grand
Arjun and the whole college should have discovered their husband-wife truth together, with a proper buildup and promo.
Before this fake birth certificate track, the hoodie and Gulab mystery should have been revealed properly.( Now I don't think they even remember this plot)
Heer's point of view and emotions toward Nawab are not explored enough.
Overall, I just feel the show had so much potential, but some recent plots have weakened it. I honestly think keeping Nawab and Heer married would have made the story more interesting.
