2 weeks today and still awful groin pain
Hi, I'm 67f I had my left hip done 2 weeks ago, by the time I got my date for surgery my right was just as bad. My pain has always been predominantly in the groin.
I had a bad start as was in hospital for 5 days as my blood pressure went down too low for me even to be allowed to start walking.
Home now and getting around with 2 crutches and sometimes using 1 in the house.
My problem is still the groin pain, it's still quite bad in the operated hip, enough to be uncomfortable in bed and disturb my sleep. I'm so used to this pain that I don't know what to expect really? Basically I'm continuing to walk around with pain in both groins.
I read so many stories of how the bad pain was almost gone after surgery that I'm wondering if mine will ever go?
Anyone else experience this?
