My rottie just turned one a few days ago and today we had to take him to the vet for seizures big and small. We are located in Arizona and the veg had sai he could have 1.) valley fever, or 2.) idiopathic epilepsy and gave us some medication to help limit his seizures. I have never had an animal who had seizures and it was very scary for myself and them when this happened. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to help make him more comfortable, if your dogs are in the same boat and taking keppra should I expect him to still have a decent amount of seizures or would it be less common like maybe once a month etc type of thing I should expect, can he have seizures in his sleep? I’m new to the whole thing and any information would be helpful I did ask the vet tons of questions but still feel so ill prepared, overwhelmed, and scared for my baby while waiting for results.
