Hi,

I am in a bit of unique situation. I got my approved OPT I-20 but my plans have shifted and now I have found a job in my home country. I have not submitted the application in USCIS (no I-765). Should I got to my DSO and let them “cancel” my OPT I-20 recommendation since I am no longer applying? Or is this not needed?

Would this affect future US visa applications? Do I still get the 60 day grace period?
