I have a Cobra MkIII and I managed to make my first 5 million and ive been wondering if I should buy a new ship and mine with that or if I should just continue with the Cobra MkIII?

I've seen people say they make tens of millions of credits an hour just by mining platinum so I want to stick with it to see if I can earn more.
