I am in no way a legal expert, but if the university has some kind of legal obligation or agreement to provide fair grading for all students, and some professors may inevitably be unable to fulfill this obligation if they solely used canvas to keep track of grades, then how can UCF allow for grades to be given for this semester?

I’m speculating on whether this would happen at a college or university level, meaning whether or not grading is done at the individual college level or run by the university as a whole, but since final grades are due today and canvas is down I think you could make a strong case as a student body that grading should be much more forgiving this term. Any of you have any thoughts on this?
