If you're planning a trip from Bangalore, put Nandi Hills on your list immediately.

We reached around 6am and the entire hill was just... swallowed by fog. Couldn't see the valley at all from the viewpoint but honestly that made it 10x more beautiful. The white wildflowers blooming through the mist, people becoming silhouettes on the observation deck, tall trees just fading into nothing — it felt unreal.

Quick tips if you're planning:

Leave Bangalore by 4:30am to catch sunrise

Visit during monsoon or post-monsoon (July–October) for this kind of fog

Entry fee is very affordable

Carry a light jacket — it gets cold up there even in summer

Weekdays are much less crowded than weekends

Honestly one of the most underrated day trips from Bangalore. These photos don't even do it justice.
