I feel very judgmental and soft writing that title out but it’s really my biggest problem atm.
Looking for an apprenticeship in carpentry, but wouldn’t mind a different trade. I’ve had a couple trial shifts with different companies, and while I’m grateful for the opportunities, I feel like I don’t mesh with any of the crews I’ve met. I’ve had issues finding anyone with a sense of humour better than calling shit ‘gay’ and some cunts are just miserable and overly complain about everything. I knew trades had a reputation but I feel really discouraged about finding a good work environment.
Am I expecting too much? I want to dedicate myself to a trade but I don’t want to spend 5 days a week around people I don’t enjoy being around. Is there anyone that can relate to my issue and has ended up finding a good team? Thanks for reading
