Just seeking some encouragement- our guy went in for a tplo surgery only to find both legs were torn. They were about to do a bilateral tplo but when they pulled fluids from the joints it was all puss and infection. Surgery was cancelled right away due to risk which is completely understandable and started a heavy regimen of antibiotics. Have no clue what caused the infection but today was the first day where our little guy didn’t cry and cry and seems like maybe we are turning the page. I know how difficult torn CCLs can be but this has been so much more than that and so difficult to deal with on top of an extremely demanding work schedule and other bs. This is the first day he has left a little room to get some fresh air and makes me feel more hopeful. Nothing is more stressful than seeing your babies suffer and feeling completely helpless. 🥺
