Does Continental SportContact 7 worth it?
Hi guys, after 4 seasons and around 70k km on my Audi A6 with Continental SportContact 6, it’s finally time for a new set of summer tires. I was very close to buying the SportContact 7, but then I started reading some comments saying that the SC7 wears out pretty quickly and, more importantly, loses its performance characteristics faster than expected.
So I wanted to ask people who have actually driven or are currently driving on SportContact 7 — is that really true, and do you think the tire is worth the money overall?
I was honestly satisfied with the performance of SportContact 6, but at the same time I kind of want to try something different this time. If not the SC7, what would you recommend in a similar price range, around €200 and little more per tyre?
Size is 255/40 R20.
