Let me get this out there right away in that I think that we can all agree that Kyle was not a good husband, not within this union with Amanda anyhow.
That said, I certainly feel I viewed their relationship nearly strictly through the lens of Amanda, who in retrospect spent nearly every season nitpicking, complaining about and sometimes even kind of insulting him at times, which I subconsciously agreed with due to his his partying preference and past decisions, not to mention, outbursts. Now I am beginning to wonder knowing all that we know and now viewing things through a lens outside of Amanda’s… was I kind of unfair in some of this all along?
There’s a litany of things that occurred this past episode, this past season and now in seasons past where if viewed through a more neutral lens, or even through the lens of Kyle, shifts some things.
Anyway if the mods let this one through, let’s discuss how Kyle should be viewed and received moving forward and I’ll provide my examples in the comments for sake of filling up time here…
