26F looking for fellow nerds, gamers

Hey! I’m a someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time getting way too invested in fictional worlds, digital cities, complex fictional lore, and whatever nonsense I’m printing on my 3D printer, if that sounds like your cup of tea, continue. 🙂

Gaming stuff first: I’m into shooters… but the slower kind where you have time to regret your decisions. Think Tarkov (which I am awful at), Ready or Not, and the occasional sillier stuff like Warhammer games.

On the opposite end, I love city builders like Anno and Cities: Skylines where I can lose hours detailing some tiny back-alley no one will ever visit. Detailing is basically a compulsion to me.

I also like RPGs, though my opinions here may get me burned at the stake:

- Mass Effect Andromeda was actually pretty sweet.

-Fallout 4 is more replayable than New Vegas if you’re ignoring the main story and using mods.

I'm into games that are sandboxes or let you find your own goals and ambitions, probably why I like FO4 because of the exploration and settlements and similar for Andromeda. But also for example Rimworld, Stellaris and KSP which are all for me more story generators then anything else.

Story stuff: I’m the person who often ends up liking the villain more than the hero, but only if they’re not written as “obviously morally grey” in a forced way or “cartoonishly evil.” (Yes, I may or may not sympathize a little too much with both the Galactic Empire and the Enclave…)

I love lore. I love worldbuilding. I love making up stories for worlds no one asked me to build.

Hobby chaos: I 3D print, build models, and make dioramas for exame DnD/Warhammer worlds for friends, because apparently I need more ways to obsess over tiny details. Also LEGO. Lots of LEGO. Especially Star Wars, City, and Creator/Icons.

I’m also a huge tech nerd, computers, tanks, planes, trains… basically if it makes noise or has engineering behind it I’ve probably hyperfocused on it.

I role-play in games and real life, airsoft, cosplay, whatever setting you throw at me, I’m down. I like a good excuse to dress up.

Life stuff: In the past year I’ve been trying to get out of my shell more socially and in the “actually putting effort into myself” way. I enjoy makeup and dressing up for RP stuff or jyst fun dress up, but I’ve always avoided doing it day-to-day. Lately I’m trying more, and it genuinely makes me happier… motivation just isn’t always consistent on bad days. But hey, improvement is improvement.

Also: I love cooking (and eating), especially fast food, barbecue and pasta.
