Has anybody tried using a custom estradiol dose by combining a patch and a compounded estradiol cream? I am on .05 patch but .075 feels like it’s too much for my nervous system. I ordered .015 compounded estradiol cream to try to get to an in between. Open to other suggestions. I’m not really comfortable cutting patches or splitting up pumps of gel. Running out of options here.
I’ve been on Androgel, 1 pump every other day and it’s been 4 weeks and other than a bit more energy not much else. Mood feels flat and not a racy thought crosses my mind even watching the steamy episodes of season 4 Bridgerton. Nada. And I lose words all the time mid sentence. So embarrassing and frustrating.
Does it just take some more time to kick in? Do I need more estrogen ? I am on Climara .05 patch, and 200 mg oral Progesterone. Tried updosing to the .075 and it was too much. I thought the T might be the missing piece to get some spring in my step and clear the brain fog. Thank you for any insights!
