Has anyone in MA renewed their driver’s license or REAL ID while their adjustment of status was pending?

My F-1 status expired, but I have a pending I-130, I-485, and I-765. My current MA REAL ID/license is expiring soon and I’m trying to figure out what documents the RMV accepted for renewal.

Did they:
- renew your REAL ID?
- make you switch to a standard license?
- require SAVE verification?
- wait for your EAD approval first?

Would really appreciate hearing anyone’s recent experience in MA specifically.
