Hi everyone! My friends and I (a group of four beginners) are looking for a tennis coach in the area. We're already aware of CBRC, but are exploring additional options. Does anyone know a coach who teaches beginners? Any recommendations are welcome — thank you!

Hi everyone! My I-485 case was transferred to the Yakima, WA field office, which is also my local FO. The problem is — my interview has never been scheduled (now marked as NOT waived since 4/1/2026), and I'm trying to figure out what's going on.

I've talked to a couple of friends whose cases are also handled by the same office:

- One received a notice to schedule an interview back in August of last year… and then complete silence from USCIS.

- Another got a similar scheduling notice in *March*… and again, nothing after that.

Interestingly, it seems like Yakima moves pretty quickly for non-local cases, but for those of us with local cases, no one seems to be able to get an interview scheduled.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'd love to hear:

- Your timeline at the Yakima FO

- Whether you're a local or transferred case

- Any tips on how to follow up or escalate

Any insight would be hugely appreciated! 🙏

I am looking for some insights into the processing timeline for the Yakima, WA Field Office.

My I-485 case was transferred to the Yakima, WA FO on March 20, 2026. My combo card (EAD/AP) was subsequently approved on March 25, 2026.

Since the transfer, I’ve had silent updates on my I-485 on April 1 and April 20. My case status currently only reflects the initial updates from when my fingerprints were taken (2 FAT0). My priority date is current as of this April, and I am under the EB1A category.

Emma (USCIS assistant) confirmed that my interview is NOT waived, but I still haven't received an official interview notice. I’ve heard that Yakima often processes I-485s quite quickly, typically within 1–3 months after transfer. I am getting a bit anxious about the delay.

Has anyone here had a similar experience at this FO? Any insights or shared experiences regarding interview timelines at Yakima would be greatly appreciated!
