The title is pretty self-explanatory. i’ve been reading that this is uncommon for newer cars, however it has over 200,000 miles on it so that could be the reason it’s worn out so quick? i can’t afford the 600-1200$ cost of taking it into a shop to fix.
i guess im most curious on if i should continue driving it? i work close to home so my work commute isn’t hard on it. but i have to take a trip over 100 miles for an important event very soon. which is also where my friend who could fix it for cheap/free lives. should i take the risk with my car? it’s quite the blessing to me and want it to last as long as possible.
