Please bear with me. This story has a lot of parts and spans over a long period of time. Some

parts may not seem important but I swear it all comes together. I’m admitting my father to a

nursing home in the next few weeks and going through all of his belongings. Doing so has

brought up a lot of memories from the past. I feel so alone in what I am rediscovering and I

honestly don’t know where to turn. Please advise. I can’t help but feel that this is all connected.

Has anyone experienced something like this or know what I'm talking about? I won't disclose

exactly where this is because I know enough to know that there are trolls on the internet who

have too much time on their hands. Serious inquiries only reach out to me through email

Lawson.wayne127@gmail.com

I hope you can really see the whole idea here. I will do my best to write this story with as much

detail as I can. Thanks for your time.

For some background info: My mom died from stage 4 lung cancer when I was 3. My dad fell into a depression and couldn’t bear to continue living in the town where he grew up with, met, married, and started a life with my mom. It was too painful for him. There were memories of her everywhere. The following year after I turned 4, my dad finally had enough of the sadness and packed up what was left of our life and we moved from New Jersey to Little Rock, Arkansas. I don’t remember much of my life in New Jersey and I barely had any memories of my mom. I also didn’t and still don’t know why he chose Arkansas. We went back to NJ one time after my mom passed to visit my grandfather who still lived in my dad’s childhood home. By then, I was 7 but still the memories were distant. My dad erased nearly all traces of my mom except for a few pieces of her clothing, her very favorite coffee mug, and a photo that sat on our fireplace mantle of the two of them together in front of a small church. They looked like the perfect couple. It was picture perfect. They were young and in love. It looked straight out of a movie. I spent hours looking at the photo when I was little. Trying to get to know who my mom was. But, It never worked.
