I’ve posted the video just in case anyone here doesn’t know about/hasn’t seen the dance (Miss Ariel really eats in this dance). The music is ass, as usual - and no, the song is not by Tate McRae, someone added that over it lol - and the chaps are questionable - they’re super cute! But very revealing 🫣 - but the dance in itself is some of the most fresh and fun choreo they’ve had in a LONG time.

I’ve spoken about this before, but I would like to see the DCC perform quarter changes or different routines at appearances over Thunder. A lot of Thunder’s novelty lies in it being performed on the field with the jumbotron - when it’s performed elsewhere, it loses its magnetism and becomes a long and boring routine. There’s a reason why we all think it’s stale, and I don’t think it’s due to the dance being necessarily bad, but because it’s so overdone and seems to be all they perform.

Kelli and Judy seem to have taken the word “iconic” and equaled it with “overused.”I think leaving Thunder as a pregame performance at games and allowing the girls to perform shorter and more dynamic routines at appearances will make everything more fun all round.
