Hey all! I bought a pair of Adidas Spezial in the Earth Strata / OWHITE / GUM 2 colorway, but I’m confused about the color consistency. Please help me out.
The first pair I ordered (my usual size) had a darker brown tone, but I had to return them because the size didn’t work, and when I reordered in another size, the new pair looks noticeably lighter.
I’ve also noticed online that this colorway looks different depending on the site/photos, some darker and some lighter.
Could it just be material variation between pairs, or are there actually different versions/models under the same color name?
- The brown on the laces looks quite different from the rest of the shoe.
- The suede/material looks kind of faded, almost like it’s been washed a bunch, even though it’s brand new.
Not sure if I’m overthinking it or if I got a different batch. Would appreciate any insight and if you guys like this color
