Hey All! Not sure if this is the correct subreddit to post in or not

Just your average at home hobby guitar player that has been using a Pod HD500x and line 6 iv amp (more as speaker) for the past few years and getting tired of having the same sounds.

Few questions if anyone can help:

Is helix worth it?

I am just looking mainly to download others tones that were already created - Are tones free to download?

How complicated is using the software?
Any advice/tips would be appreciated!
