Anyone else?
So, my gastro dr thought I just had ibs-c. After the colonoscopy and the marker test, that changed. I have Colonic Inertia. Anyone else blessed with this? Medication doesn’t always work. MiraLAX will choose when it wants to be effective. She’s even stated that people with severe cases like mine choose to have a colonoscopy surgery. The only thing she can do is treat it like ibs-c but the inconsistency is exhausting. I was on linzess, 145mcg, but this year my insurance decided not to cover it. So now I’m on Trulance and take two dulcolax every night. I always look/feel bloated. Always in the waist and my face always looks bloated. I’m only 5’7” 125ish lbs so I’ve never had this much bloating in my life. I eat VERY well. I just always have. I just started taking probiotics to see if that helps with the bloating. Any suggestions on the face puffiness or is anyone else diagnosed with colonic inertia and have tips for me?
