I know you don’t need to have your entire life figured out at 20, and I’m not trying to force myself to figure everything out right now either. But at the same time, being 20 means you start craving financial independence and wanting to build a future for yourself.
I couldn’t go to university, and right now I don’t really have a clear plan, which honestly makes me feel lost. I’m okay with not having everything figured out yet, but I do want to start doing something meaningful that can give me a decent income and help me build a stable future.
I’m interested in content creation and would love to become a content creator someday, but I know that takes months or even years before it starts making money. So I want to work on content creation on the side while building another skill or career at the same time.
I’m looking for advice on skills or careers I can learn through self-study or affordable courses. I want something flexible, creative, freelance or project-based rather than a typical 9-to-5 job. I’ve worked regular jobs before, and I honestly hated the routine and structure of them.
So what are some career paths or skills that could give me flexibility, creativity, and a decent income while still allowing me to work on my own goals ?
