Can anyone help identify and date this vintage Made in England gilt brass vanity set?
Found this complete vanity set at a thrift store. It includes a hand mirror, hairbrush and comb. The comb is stamped 'Made in England' on the gilt spine. The mirror has a decorative printed paper back protected by a thin acetate sheet. The metal is non-magnetic with gold colouring underneath scratches suggesting gilt brass. No other maker's marks found anywhere on any piece. Can anyone help identify the maker, age, and approximate value?
