Hi

My daughter is doing her first half marathon in Manchester at the end of May. This is the first time we're done something like this, and although the organisers have sent details of the day, I'm expecting that there's many things we should know to help the day run smoothly for us.

So for anyone from Manchester, or have done these before, are there any tips or recommendations on things like where to stay, how to get to the start in good time, best place to watch/support or anything else that we should know?
