Storing my Yuka in my garage to prevent theft.
I noticed a post from a few days ago of a video showing someone's Mammotion mower being stolen from their front yard. I also have a front yard that I use my Yuka to mow and I used to store it right by the lawn (as suggested in the instructions when I set it up). However, I feel it's safer if I just store it in the garage, but that would mean opening up the garage and manually guiding the Yuka on to the lawn each time. THEN, I saw this Linus Tech Tips video where he automates the opening of the garage door and allowing his Luba to complete the task all without human input. Has anyone tried this yet? The video doesn't say much about how to set it up. Does the Mammotion device communicate with the garage door opener where it commands the door to open? Does the garage door opener command the Mammotion device to start? Or Is there a third party controller that commands both?
