Her previous owner lopped off her top bun along with the rest of her hair from the shoulder down. But left a tiny black strand a little longer. I thought that made her look edgy so I kept that and just cleaned up the rest of her bob. Such a beautiful girlie

She was super cheap and in such good condition (original state in last slide). Just had to give her a quick clean-up and dress-up 🌈

Calling all SK collectors or anyone who's shopped for dolls in physical SK stores!

Hi all, I'm planning to go to Korea this year. Will probably cover Incheon, Busan, and Seoul. I'd like to squeeze in a doll hunt if possible!

What are some stores that you'd recommend a fellow collector for doll shopping? Preferably near a train stop.

From my limited research, I know of the following stores:

- Toys R Us in Lotte Mart Zettaplex Jamsil, Seoul

- Toys R Us in Lotte World, Eunpyeong, Seoul

- Toys Street in Dongaemun, Seoul

Lmk of any others and if the above are worth visiting!

Also, what's the doll market like in Korea? What brands do your stores carry? What's the pricing like? Are there any other types of toy stores worth exploring (maybe vintage toy shops or thrift stores)?

I mainly collect western doll lines like MH, RH, and LOL OMG, if that helps narrows it down. Iirc there was a post last year on the MH sub that Mattel has pulled out of the country so MH aren't sold there physically anymore (please correct me if I'm wrong!) But I enjoy window shopping for any doll <3 I'd love to see some Mimi!

Thanks in advance! Love from Msia <3
