Between January and today, my family have been on star tours 5 times. Each time the ride started with Hoth. This shouldn’t happen, or does someone have any insight why the first scene is stuck?

I haven’t seen a single video on YouTube or anyone on this sub talking about it (maybe I missed it though), my family and I have been frequent Disneyland guests for years now, understood how to use the app based lightning lane model, pay for it every time since we could burn through a lot of rides and even go on multiple times.

This had worked for quite awhile up until we did our 3 day SoCal pass this year 2026, January no issues did 3 lightning rides on star tours, 2 haunted mansions, March 2026 completely locked to only one ride through per attraction, same today May 9th. Was this change announced? I’m assuming yes and I’m an idiot, but I have not seen a single complaint about it on this sub.
