After a long day of packing your things to move into your college dorm, you slam the trunk of your car. You were starting your new life tomorrow. You were going to drive from your home to your college in the nearby city. Away from your hometown, away from your family, away from everything you knew. With a heavy sigh, you find yourself looking up at the night sky. Even the stars would be different- not the usual endless expanse that you’re used to; it would be smothered by a layer of city smog and lights. Knowing this might be your last time looking up at these stars for a while, you carefully lie on the hood of your car, legs dangling as you look up into the starry sky. It’s not more than a minute into your gazing that you hear furious engine sound, followed by a sudden brake in front of your car. You don’t even have to look up from your hood to know the familiar sound. The voice is puffed as they stand in front of you.
