Whenever you guys dry using your AMS 2 Pro, do you guys remove the tip and store it on the side of the spool so it can rotate? Or do you guys deselect the “rotate spool” option?
I’m drying some PETG with the spool rotating but, i find it kinda pointless to do a full 12 hours drying to then have to open the lid and insert the filament into the AMS. All that time spend drying to just open the lid and take 2-3 minutes cutting and inserting the filament just for it to get moisture again. My AMS goes from having 9% moisture to 25% within those 2-3 minutes.
