hi everyone, I am 20 years old and had a labrum repair and FAI bone shaving in April of 2024. this surgery completely failed, and I had a labrum reconstruction and more shaving done by another surgeon March of 2025. He said when he went into my hip during this surgery my labrum was practically all mush with the anchors floating around. Long story short, over 1 year post op I am still having significant pain. I have tried cortisone injections and have been doing PT since surgery.

at my last follow up, my surgeon mentioned my socket possibly being shallow, and this lead me to learn about hip dysplasia. basically, I am just wondering if it seems feasible that this could be worth exploring or if it is something that would have been caught already.

thank you
