I need to change the water pump on my 2011 Rav4 2.5L with 155k miles. I've got an AISIN pump coming, and I've previously changed the alternator and just recently drained and filled the antifreeze, I know I'll need to temporarily remove the alternator and will need to refill the antifreeze again. Comfortable with that. I've got a belt tensioner tool to help with that, too.
Any tips on how to make sure I don't ruin my engine? I've been really enjoying working on this car, but this will be the highest stake part swap I've done (suspension parts, fluid swaps) and I'm nervous.
