Found a single silverfish in the kitchen of my apartment (found alive inside a pot in my cabinet) and mildly concerned about it after doing a bit of research. I live on the 4th floor in SW Florida and had a friend who lived on the 2nd floor move out a few months ago due to a mold issue (unsure of it was resolved)

I plan on moving out when my lease is up in August so i’m not too sure what to do. I read that they can sometimes hang out in cardboard and I did have a box that i neglected to take out (it stayed on my counter for a couple days).

I’m honestly just at a loss, any advice would be appreciated!
