I’ve been going back and forth about this for like 2 months but basically I don’t have a car. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to drive part-time in order to pay for the car and be able to use it.
I already have a hybrid full-time job, working 40 hours a week but I have no car for my regular commute (I have a 1hour bus commute one way) and spend money on DoorDash and Instacart for groceries.
I don’t know the market well but I’m in Richmond VA and Lyft seems to be more popular than uber (I usually end up waiting longer on uber). Just wondering if I can make enough to cover the rent driving 20 or so hours a week. Not looking to make profit or anything unless I got some time off.
