Minute ago I launched this new site watale.com (beta). It all started with a desktop app to create visual novels with AI, fully offline capable.
Friction due to installer getting flagged due to low reputation, hardware requirements, and main distribution platforms not being too friendly with neither AI nor possibility of adult content, is making this steep start. After some thinking, decided to give it a spin.
WaTale has now also become a platform which allows any user to consume already created visual novels with no install, and phone friendly.
I know that there's other platforms offering storytelling, even in realtime, though I found nothing providing much animation or flair, and these have other challenges. In my humble experience, continuity, structure, and proper story handling are also still a challenge for even the biggest models so, until we have movies on the fly suiting our taste, I did the best to have best approach given the constrains and format.
Both the site and app are completely free, no quotas or sign user required, and no short term plans of monetization.
I'm looking for opinions, willing fiddlers willing to measure the quality of the content, and anything that helps get me polished before I keep going this long way. Thank you in advance for the help.
