Been playing the game with no issues for around a month now. Used a VPN the whole time. Now I can't get into the game for some reason.

I never touched any settings or made any updates.

I log into rockstar with no issues, load up the game, select an option (free roam, camp, etc.), it starts loading into a session and then fails with a 0x50170000 error.

I've tried changing my VPN settings, split tunneling, flushing the DNS, checking inbound firewall rules and so on.

I'm losing my mind over this, been troubleshooting all day.

Anyone know what could be the issue?

I was using Discord earlier today, didn't do anything just checked my account and left. Just a moment ago I checked the app again and I was logged out of my account.

I logged back in no issue and checked the usual: connected apps, devices, authorised apps, password, email, mobile number, recent messages. All stayed the same, nothing unusual.

I even checked my email. It's not compromised and there were no "new login" or "password changed" emails.

Even ran a virus scan on my phone, all clean.

I've changed my password to be safe but I'm really confused.

Is there a possibility that someone got access to my account or is this just a session issue with the app?
