Awhile back I created a Rain team to introduce me to Champions and competitive Pokemon as a whole. I made it mostly myself, using the common rain team mons and my own fun ideas. The problem? It’s hot garbage and I have NO clue how I rammed my way into Master rank with it.

I mean, it used Trick Room and Tailwind but wasn’t good at either. Quality over quantity I guess

I am here to have feedback on my WIP remake. The reason I want feedback is to deal with 2 dilemmas.

Overuse of Water Types, and Mega Meganium.

Rule 1.) For this team, it has to have Primarina (my favorite Pokémon)

Rule 2.) Follow Rule 1.)

The issue is you basically need Pelipper, I want Primarina, but I also want Basculegion.

I’ve added Garchomp to help with my crippling weakness to Electric, but I was going to run Mega Dragonite. I don’t want 3 Dragon types and 3 Water Types, so I dropped em for Meganium

The issue is I don’t know how to use Meganium, I don’t want to use Meganium since I have a fairy type in Primarina, and it honestly doesn’t benefit my team besides “oh shiny electric resist”

So, what should I do. Once again I’m not dropping Primarina.

I’ve already built a rain team in Champions, and some people here helped me with some of the team building aspects (moves and such)

I’ve reached Masters (yippee) and wanna try my hand at a second team, being Sun. It’s has many common Sun staples, but I added Hisuian Typhlosion with Choice Scarf Eruption because kaboom

I just want some tips and suggestions that I can look into. I plan on Shiny hunting Charizard/Typhlosion/Whimsicott (I have the other 3 shiny) so I’ll have time to fine tune my team if necessary before I build it

Note: I’ve played the team on Showdown and it seems pretty good. Also I switched Gleam for Moonblast on Whimsicott. I have stats on my mons I just didn’t have them when I took the screenshot
