36F with $450,000 in investments (stocks, 401K, Roth IRA). Husband pays for the mortgage (almost payed off in a few years), utilities, and on his company health insurance. He is also set to retire in 16 years with a $110k/ year pension from government job. We don’t have kids or pets.
My current job is $80k salary that is WFH and low stress. Typically work only 25 hours per week.
Expenses are low:
-car insurance: $1k/ year
-gas: $40/ month
-groceries: $300/month
-tennis lessons: $130/month
-ballet lessons: $200/month
I have been ruminating on how I can probably retire now and husband is onboard, but not sure about the future. I want to focus on health, hobbies, and travel etc
How are other women that have supportive husbands feeling about retiring early in their 30’s?
