So I DM for a group of my friends once a month now. We are all dads and have busy lives. One thing that would constantly set us back is finding where we put our notes the last time we played. Naturally my players would forget NPCs or locations. Looking online I found others had the same problem even with playing more frequently.

I am not one to give up! I wanted to create a solution for my own campaign to organize all my NPCs, Locations, Factions, connection trees, prep my campaign, run campaign notes, run combat, manage homebrew spells, items, player inventory, and roll dice.

I managed to do all of that in my new app, Chronicle. It cut way down on my prep time, and allows me to save threads I’d like to bring up down the road.

I’ve also given my players a place to see the entire world I’ve built. Share a campaign link with your players and they can join your world and see all revealed NPCs, Locations, Factions and even campaign notes shared with them so you never miss a beat again.

I even have a tab to keep notes as a player, a player sheet, as well with the ability to add homebrew classes and races. All completely customizable. I also have some procedurally generated random tables if you need some help with a base to build a new NPC or encounter. And if you want to, share your homebrew elements with the community as well as campaign settings and worlds for others to enjoy.

I love the ability to run combat inside my initiative tracker. Easily keep track of PC and NPC/ monster HP. I have all the SRD monsters as well as the ability to make custom monsters, either from an SRD base or completely from scratch.

I could go on and on, I think it’s really cool, and obviously I think it could be really helpful to you as well. So try it out on your campaign, I do have a free tier to host one campaign on with access to all the cool features. I’d love feedback and criticism to make it even better and more helpful. It’s just a team of one (me) so I welcome any and all suggestions.

Hey everyone, I just created a new app to help DMs and Players organize their campaigns in one easy place so DMs never lose a thread again, and players can stop asking who is who inside their world.

Host full character sheets inside the app, you can see all the locations, NPCs, factions, and session history for your campaign.

For DMs, you can plan sessions, take notes during sessions, and allow AI to summarize your campaign and send a player forward copy to your party.

The best part about the AI is how it’s trained specifically for your campaign, no more random generators, it reads your world history, all your NPCs factions and locations, even your recent session history to give tailored AI suggestions for your campaign.
