Okay fam, let’s get this going. I live in Japan, but I’m not Japanese. Took the wife and son to a little weekend Osaka vacation. Hit the Umeda store on the first day, stock was pretty much gold jewelry, glasses, and undergarments. Picked up the +22+ candle set and talked with the SA about restocks, she told me that usually around 2-3PM is best times to check. Whatever, on to Shinsaibashi. Walked in about an hour after opening, they have some silver with stones set in, gold, a lot more glasses, and Foti socks and underwear (the artist behind Foti just did a whole Japan tour). Meanwhile, while we’re looking around we way he’s the SA take a hoodie off display for a very obvious VIP client. Picked up the Foti socks and my wife tried on the red sunglasses and wanted to hit LV before making up her mind. We ended up coming back and this time I was wearing a paper chain/floral ID stack when we come back. My wife was trying on the sunglasses again and we told the SA we would take them. As they’re packing them up, SA comes up to me and asks me how long we’ll be in town. We make some talk and tell them I live in Japan and after that was offered to buy the Osaka CH pullover and that they had my size. SA pulls a XL and M for the wife out from the back and we complete our purchase, while at the same time I’m watching another guy buy a paper chain about 12-13 inches. Anyway, I guess if you want to get offered stuff, walk in with more than a trucker hat on I guess? I don’t know. Super random but glad I got my wife’s mother day gifts out the way. Haha
