So, I have been playing around with drumstructor for a while now and I really like it. The only problem is that I have noticed that some users kits have customized textures(usually from a cymbal) in the shape and image of unique accessories such as cowbells, midi controlers, etc.

I have tried uploading my own images to create a texture with some of these pics, but when I apply it to my kit, the shape stays in the circular cymbal shape and the image is a stretched out mess.

How do I create a texture and have it just look like the shape and image it's supposed to on my kit?
